First Move ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the First Move mobile application (the "App").
Information We Collect
Images You Upload
- Dating Profile Screenshots: When you use the "Open a match" or "Improve my profile" features, you voluntarily upload screenshots of dating profiles.
- Storage: Images are processed in real-time and are NOT stored on our servers. Images are sent directly to OpenAI's API for analysis and are immediately discarded after processing.
Usage Data
- Rate Limiting: We store usage counts associated with anonymous device identifiers to enforce fair usage limits. This data is retained for the duration of your subscription period or 30 days for free users.
- Anonymous Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics (feature usage, error rates) to improve the App. This data cannot identify you personally.
Purchase Information
- Subscription Status: We receive subscription status from Apple App Store/Google Play via RevenueCat to determine your access level. We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Credit Balances: If you purchase credits, we store your credit balance to provide the service.
Device Information
- Photo Library Access: The App requests permission to access your photo library solely to allow you to upload screenshots. We only access images you explicitly select.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Generate personalized dating app openers based on uploaded profile screenshots
- Provide profile improvement feedback based on your uploaded profile screenshots
- Prevent abuse through rate limiting
- Improve App functionality and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations
Data Sharing and Third Parties
OpenAI
- Images you upload are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4 Vision API for analysis

Cloudflare
- Our backend API is hosted on Cloudflare Workers

- Credit Balances: Retained until credits are used or you request deletion.
- Anonymous Usage Stats: Retained indefinitely but cannot identify you.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request information about data we hold about you
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (though we store minimal data as described above)
- Opt-Out: Stop using the App at any time
